How to Combat Antisemitism Using An Anti-Racist, Solidarity Framework:
A Teach-In Responding to the Special Commission on Combatting Antisemitism

Together for an Inclusive Massachusetts (TIM) invites you to learn more about fighting antisemitism and protecting civil liberties for all across Massachusetts!

With the help of Tikkun Olam Productions (producers of Israelism) and a panel of experts on antisemitism and civil rights, Together for an Inclusive Massachusetts has produced a teach-in for communities across Massachusetts.

This teach-in is designed to be facilitated by friends, coworkers, book clubs, student groups, faith communities, and more. We provide you with all materials to lead a meaningful conversation about combating antisemitism through an anti-racist, solidarity-based framework.

This teach-in includes:

  • A video produced by Tikkun Olam Productions (producers of Israelism), with expert panelists on antisemitism and civil rights discussing the issue of antisemitism today, how the Special Commission on Combating Antisemitism (“the Commisson”) is approaching this issue, and how antisemitism can be addressed from an anti-racist, solidarity framework.
  • A step-by-step facilitator’s guide on how to prepare for and lead productive discussions on addressing antisemitism from an anti-racist, solidarity framework.
  • Information on how to connect with organizers on this issue and how to share your opinion with your state representatives.

It is vitally important to address antisemitism in the Commonwealth without promoting racism against Palestinians and to ensure that the Commission does not conflate legally protected free speech criticizing Israel or teaching about Palestinian experiences with antisemitism. To accomplish this, the Massachusetts legislature needs to hear a diversity of voices on this issue, not only those promoted by the Commission.

We need you to help us spread the word by bringing together a group of people to discuss these important issues!
